Hello, and Welcome to my home on the Internet — my Family Truckster on the Information Superhighway.
If we haven’t met yet, I’m a big fan of great journalism and writing, graphic novels, foreign or 80s movies and old theatres, discovering new foods with friends, deep sea fishing, blues and alt-country music, outdoor ice hockey, social enterprise ventures like Kiva, dogs AND cats, physics and science, the study of history, my big family, my alma mater (Go Eagles!), and the New York sports teams from my childhood (Mets, Giants, Rangers). I spent 11 years in Boston and I am now in the process of settling in Washington, D.C. — if you’re in the area, I’m always looking for restaurant suggestions, especially New Orleans cuisine!
Beyond that, I spent three years at Harvard, where I was responsible for the financial and administrative operations for two experimental quantum physics groups. While there, I handled everything from their multi-million dollar grant portfolios to their weekly coffee bean deliveries and most things in between. In 2008, I returned to Boston College full-time to complete my BA in History, graduating in May 2009.
I’m always interested in reconnecting, so drop me a line and let me know what you’ve been up to.
My best,
James
